Back Creek Road is in Bentley, NSW, a partially paved, mostly dirt thoroughfare that serves farms north of Bentley Road. It is rural, it is rustic, it is out of the way, and the bush retains its primeval qualities, seething with the drone of summer cicadas. Cattle graze on a grassy field before a tree-lined creek, the road runs north-south, and the clouds float over low-lying forested hills.
